Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are searching for a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team! As a key player in our software delivery lifecycle, you will be responsible for automating processes, optimizing systems, and ensuring the reliability and security of our production environments. You will leverage your expertise in development and IT operations to bridge the gap between development teams and IT operations, fostering a culture of collaboration and achieving efficient and rapid software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement DevOps tools and methodologies to automate software delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
• Manage and optimize infrastructure on-premise or in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
• Configure and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth code integration and deployment processes
• Oversee infrastructure performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues proactively
• Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends and technologies
• Mentor junior team members and share DevOps knowledge

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or a related role (3+ years)
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies (CI/CD, Agile)
• Solid experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.) is a plus
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana etc.) is a plus
• Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef etc.) is a plus
• Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with security tools and best practices (threat modeling, code scanning, etc.)
• Experience with API integration and automation
• Experience in a specific industry (relevant to the company's domain)
