Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a high energy Sr QA Engineer that is passionate about the craft, the business and getting product to market effectively. The type that thrives in the Start-up environment and gets it done, and done right. Importantly have a strong background in software testing, particularly with applications that involve hardware integrations and NFC technology. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform, which includes API, mobile apps, web apps, cabinet apps, and integrations with Trello and Jira.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test cases to integrate seamlessly with the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.
• Execute manual testing for scenarios where automation is not feasible, ensuring thorough test coverage.
• Collaborate closely with developers to create robust, maintainable, and efficient test code.
• Use platforms like BrowserStack to perform cross-device testing and ensure responsiveness across various devices and form factors.
• Conduct performance testing of backend REST APIs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Track, document, and report defects, working proactively to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
• Estimate testing effort and manage testing schedules to align with project milestones and deadlines.
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices for implementing tests and improving overall test coverage.

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience as a QA professional.
• Proven experience testing React web applications, React Native mobile applications, and APIs.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with Jira
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with cross-device testing platforms like BrowserStack.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
