We are seeking an experienced UX/UI designer to join our team on a project basis, with potential for full-time conversion. As a product designer on our healthcare industry-focused platform, you will collaborate closely with our development team to design intuitive user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-fidelity UX/UI prototypes using various tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD)
• Collaborate with the development team to bring designed solutions to life
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from users to inform design decisions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and marketing, to ensure alignment of design goals
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design and apply this knowledge to improve the overall user experience on our platform
• Participate in agile development processes (e.g., daily stand-ups) to ensure seamless integration between design and dev teams
• Identify areas for improvement within the product and propose solutions that align with business goals
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including technical teams, non-technical team members, and external partners

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design (portfolio required)
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and human-centered design methodologies
• Design and develop high-fidelity UX/UI prototypes using various tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues and challenge ideas when necessary
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on healthcare industry projects
• Familiarity with Shopify platform (not required but would be an asset)
