Job Title: FullStack Engineer (React, NodeJS)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Option for LATAM-based talent)

Job Type: Full-Time Contract

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend-focused FullStack Engineer with expertise in React, and NodeJS to join our dynamic team for a fast-paced project. As a FullStack Engineer, you will work collaboratively with other team members to build a polished, high-functioning MVP for an early stage startup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop full-stack applications using NodeJS for backend services and React + Tailwind for the frontend user interface.
• Collaborate with team leads and other engineers to deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Build Microservice APIs and ensure seamless integration between the backend and frontend.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices in agile software development.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stack, improving overall system performance.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Stay up-to-date with latest trends and technologies in web development to improve the efficiency of development processes.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, both on the client-side (React) and server-side (Node.js).
• Expertise with databases architecture, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, and building scalable microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (ideally Azure) and containerization tools such as Docker.
• Knowledge of state management tools (e.g., Redux, Context API) in React applications.
• Proficiency with Javascript frameworks, specifically REACT
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Webpack, Babel, etc.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a FullStack Developer with a focus on Node.js and React.
• Experience with Microservice implementations.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development (TDD).
• Knowledge of web security best practices and handling authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience integrating LLMs into application features.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and deliver tasks on time.
