About the Role:
Are you a wizard with APIs and a champion of all things Python? 🐍 Do terms like OAuth, Graph API, and token management make your tech-loving heart race? Then you’re in the right place! We’re looking for a Social Media Integration Engineer to craft and implement integrations with platforms like Facebook and Instagram, enabling features like content posting, ad creation, and analytics retrieval.
You’ll collaborate with our tech dream team to architect tools that are scalable, secure, and a joy to use. Bonus: You get to do this 100% remotely from wherever you thrive best!
What You’ll Do (aka Your Superpowers):
🛠 Build & Innovate
- Architect a Python-powered integration layer tailored for social media platforms.
- Seamlessly connect with APIs like Facebook Graph API and Instagram Basic Display API.
- Ensure secure credential storage using OAuth tokens and API keys.
🤝 Lead Platform Expertise
- Navigate platform developer ecosystems like a pro, adhering to best practices and policies.
- Guide the team through registration, scaling, and maintenance of platform apps.
🔧 Keep Things Running Smoothly
- Stay ahead of platform updates and API changes to avoid downtime.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions before they become problems.
🗣 Collaborate & Communicate
- Work closely with the CTO and engineering team to align on goals and integration strategies.
- Regularly share progress, suggest improvements, and celebrate wins!
Must-Have Skills:
Technical Expertise:
- Python Ninja: Advanced Python programming, including API integration and module creation.
- Social Media APIs: Deep experience with Facebook Graph API and Instagram Basic Display API.
- FastAPI Guru: Build sleek, high-performance APIs with FastAPI.
- Database Savvy: Work your magic with MongoDB for data storage and retrieval.
- Secure Credential Handling: Expertise in OAuth token management and secure storage solutions.
