Data Engineer / BI Developer | Healthcare Industry
Location: Latin America Remote
A leading healthcare industry company and a TeamStation AI partner is looking for a talented Data Engineer/BI Developer to join their team. Are you ready to dive into the world of healthcare data and transform complex information into actionable insights that impact operational efficiency? If so, we've got the perfect gig for you.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and manage robust data models to support multi-tenant use cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver high-quality analytics solutions that support healthcare decision-making.
- Architect and deploy advanced reporting and analytics solutions using modern tools like Apache Superset and Trino.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing solid validation and quality assurance practices.
- Provide technical leadership in healthcare analytics, sharing best practices for data modeling, analysis, and visualization.
Tech Stack & Tools
- BI & Analytics: Apache Superset, Trino
- Data: SQL, Data Warehousing
- Big Data: Apache Spark (bonus points!)
- Development Practices: CI/CD, Unit/Integration Testing, Code Reviews
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing enterprise-scale analytics solutions using SQL.
- At least 3 years of experience building interactive reports and visualizations on a major BI platform.
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, database design, and data aggregation techniques.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English with the ability to communicate across distributed teams.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points!)
- Experience with open-source big data analytics tools, including Apache Superset, Trino, and Apache Spark.
- Previous experience in the healthcare or Accounts Receivable domains.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and compliance requirements.
