Business Systems Analyst – The Bridge Between Brilliant Ideas and Flawless Code!

Location: México Remote

What You’ll Do

Think of this role as being the architect of clarity. Trying to build software without a solid plan is like trying to assemble a spaceship with instructions written in crayon. You might get something that looks like a spaceship, but you probably don't want to be in it at launch. Your job is to write the actual engineering schematics.

• Translate & Document: Serve as the critical link between business stakeholders and our engineering team, translating ambitious ideas into crystal-clear user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Be the Guardian of Scope: Fearlessly raise the red flag on vague requirements. You understand that a project without clear boundaries is like a road trip without a map—you'll burn a lot of gas and end up somewhere you didn't want to be.
• Prototype the Future: Rapidly build and test concepts using low-code/no-code or AI prototyping tools, turning abstract ideas into tangible demos that get everyone on the same page, fast.
• Map the Universe: Dive deep into complex business processes, diagramming workflows and identifying the friction points that we can solve with elegant technology.
• Champion the User: Act as the voice of the end-user throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring what we build actually solves real-world problems, not just checks a box.

Tech Stack & Tools

You'll be wielding the modern toolkit for bringing order to chaos.

• Agile & Project Management: Jira, Azure DevOps Services, Confluence
• Diagramming & Collaboration: Miro, Lucidchart
• Database Querying: A solid understanding of SQL

Requirements: What We Need

This isn't our first rodeo, so we know what it takes to succeed. We need you to have:

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar role where you were the key liaison between business and tech.
• A strong command of requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation techniques.
• Hands-on experience in an Agile/Scrum environment. You know what a user story is and how to write a great one.
• A keen eye for ambiguity and the confidence to challenge requirements that lack clarity or jeopardize project outcomes.
• A genuine curiosity for AI and how it can be applied to solve business problems.
• Exceptional communication skills. You can explain a complex system to an executive and a technical API spec to a developer, all in the same day.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is an absolute must.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points!)

• A technical background (maybe you wrote some code in a past life?).
• Experience with API documentation or data modeling.
• You’re not afraid to write a SQL query to get the data you need.
• You have a knack for making complex things simple.
