Manual QA Engineer
Location: European Union Remote
What You’ll Do
- Become the guardian of quality, meticulously hunting down bugs before they ever see the light of day.
- Translate product requirements into battle-tested manual test cases that guarantee a flawless user experience.
- Perform a variety of tests—from functional and regression to exploratory and UI/UX—to ensure every corner of the application is polished to perfection.
- Work closely with developers and product managers in an Agile environment, not just to find problems, but to help build better solutions from the ground up.
- Document every discovered bug with the precision of a seasoned detective, ensuring a clear path to resolution.
Tech Stack & Tools
- Test Management:
TestRail,Jira with Zephyr Scale,Confluence. - Web Technologies:
HTML,JavaScript,CSS. - Database:
SQL. - API Testing (Bonus):
Postman.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in manual QA testing.
- Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Ability to create and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency in bug tracking and management tools, such as Jira.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- A basic understanding of performance and security testing.
- Familiarity with accessibility and usability testing principles.
- A portfolio of successful bug-squashing stories you can tell with pride.
- The ability to explain complex technical issues to a non-technical audience without resorting to interpretive dance.
