A TeamStation AI partner in real estate operations SaaS is wrestling with the usual suspects: scattered workflows, slow field turns, too many tabs, and “did anyone update that checklist?” You’ll design the flows that collapse steps, cut errors, and give busy teams their time back—measurably, not metaphorically.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end design from fuzzy problem to shipped interface—framing bets, testing assumptions, and landing changes that move KPIs.
• Translate research into crisp user journeys and reusable patterns that tame complex, enterprise-grade workflows across web and mobile.
• Plan and run studies (qual + quant), synthesize findings, and turn them into decisions the team can act on today.
• Prototype at the right fidelity to learn fast, reduce risk, and align product + engineering before code gets expensive.
• Evolve the design system for speed and consistency; partner with engineers to keep implementation faithful from handoff through launch.
• Advocate for users with evidence and empathy; make trade-offs explicit and keep quality high under real deadlines.

Requirements

• 5+ years designing SaaS, ideally in complex domains where clarity and speed matter more than flash.
• Strong grounding in user-centered methods: research planning, IA, interaction design, and usability testing.
• Proven mobile chops: native patterns, responsive layouts, and platform nuances that don’t fight muscle memory.
• Ability to run qual/quant research, synthesize quickly, and turn findings into roadmap-level direction.
• Comfort balancing near-term delivery with long-term system thinking; align choices to user and business outcomes.
• Excellent facilitation and communication across functions; you guide discussion and build real consensus.
• Proficiency with modern design/prototyping tools (Figma preferred) and a portfolio with process, rationale, and impact.
• Fluent English; experienced in distributed collaboration.

Nice-to-Have

• Background in real estate, field ops, inspections, or other workflow-heavy verticals.
• Design-system ownership at scale (tokens, theming, governance, contribution model).
• Familiarity with product analytics and experiments (funnels, cohorts, A/B basics).
• Accessibility depth (WCAG 2.x) and pragmatic inclusive design practices.
• Open-source contributions, talks, or published case studies.
