Overview
We are building a high performance engineering team for a global music platform, this role is about protecting quality at scale, where millions of users depend on the app working every time, you will not only test features, you will help the team see risk early, stop bad releases, and improve how quality is done across the system.
What You Will Do
- Test mobile and web apps across iOS, Android, and browser
- Design and run strong test plans before every release
- Build and improve automation using modern frameworks
- Use AI tools to speed up testing, generate test cases, and find edge cases
- Work with agent based workflows to run continuous testing and validation
- Validate APIs, data flows, and backend behavior
- Run regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Use cloud device farms to test across real environments
- Review logs, traces, and failures to find root causes
- Work closely with engineers to fix issues fast
- Raise risks early and help the team avoid production problems
Modern QA Environment
- Automation tools like Playwright, WebdriverIO, Selenium, or Appium
- Cloud testing with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm
- AI assisted testing for test generation, validation, and bug detection
- Agent based workflows that continuously scan, test, and surface issues
- CI pipelines that run tests before every release
- Mobile workflows using TestFlight and release validation tools
- Full visibility into logs, errors, and system behavior
Security and Quality Focus
- Validate safe use of company devices and tools
- Ensure no unauthorized software or risky behavior
- Test authentication, permissions, and data handling
- Look for security gaps in mobile and API flows
- Protect user data and system integrity
- Follow strong process around access, environments, and releases
Requirements
- Strong experience in mobile QA for iOS and Android
- Experience with both manual testing and automation
- Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Selenium, or Appium
- Experience with cloud testing tools like BrowserStack or similar
- Strong understanding of API testing and debugging
- Experience working in fast moving engineering teams
- Clear communication and ability to explain issues simply
