Remote | Full Time | Product Engineering Environment

We’re partnering with a fast growing global technology company that is modernizing how large scale real world media and customer engagement systems operate through data, AI, automation, and advanced engineering platforms. This is not a legacy maintenance environment. The company operates across multiple international markets, moves quickly, ships continuously, and treats engineering quality as a core business function, not a support role.

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Engineer will help drive software quality across modern web platforms and distributed engineering systems. The role combines manual testing, exploratory validation, API verification, automated testing support, regression testing, and close collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Design teams.

This is an engineer led continuous deployment environment where QA is expected to think critically, identify risks early, improve testing processes, and help maintain production reliability across rapidly evolving systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform continuous QA validation on new feature development and production releases
• Execute regression, smoke, exploratory, and functional testing across environments
• Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders
• Analyze API requests, payloads, browser behavior, and network responses to isolate issues
• Support and improve automated testing pipelines and E2E testing workflows
• Contribute to scalable QA processes and release quality standards
• Maintain strong awareness of roadmap scope, release changes, and deployment risks
• Help improve engineering quality culture through communication, feedback, and ownership
• Participate in agile product delivery and continuous deployment workflows

Required Experience

• 3+ years of QA Engineering experience supporting modern web applications
• Strong experience with manual testing methodologies and QA workflows
• Experience testing APIs and analyzing request and response behavior
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Charles Proxy, HTTP Toolkit, or similar
• Experience with browser developer tooling and debugging workflows
• Understanding of frontend and backend system interactions
• Experience with regression testing and deployment validation
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, and continuous delivery practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and inconsistencies
• Comfortable working inside fast moving product engineering environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar E2E tooling
• Experience supporting automated testing pipelines
• Exposure to cloud based engineering environments
• Experience validating cross browser and cross platform behavior
• Understanding of modern frontend frameworks and APIs
• AI assisted QA workflows or testing automation exposure
